Movie

I enjoyed creating the movie for this project, and my kids thought it was really neat to watch. It was disappointing that the movie wouldn't work in class, but hopefully we can make it work this week. It is so frustrating when you try to show something on a computer other than the one you created it on, and it won't work.

Website and Movie

Still plugging away at the website and trying to decide on a movie topic. I have some ideas in mind, just haven't figured out how to connect them together yet.

Website

I have been working on my website for this class and things are going well so far. It is true that the hardest part is coming up with something to write. I try to think about what I would like to see on my own child's website for school and work from there. This seems to be working so I will keep plugging away at it.

Web Tools

All of the different web tools that we learned about tonight were interesting and could be helpful to my students. I especially liked the puzzle generators because they are a great way to help students learn or remember information in a fun way. Most students enjoy doing puzzles and they don't think of it as completing a worksheet. I also found the rubric tool very helpful as a way to assess an assignment. I can see myself using many of these sites for my classroom in the future.

Spring Break

I hope everyone has a safe spring break. Enjoy the time off!!!

Time Change

Can I just start off by saying I do not like the time change? You go around feeling like you have all the time in the world to get things finished because it is still daylight outside, but then you look at the clock and it is almost 8 p.m. I don't mind it once I become adjusted, but at the first it just throws you all off balance. My kids are going to be so much fun to wake up in the morning. I will never convince them it is time to get up and go to school because it will still be dark outside.

Mardi Gras

Hope everyone is having a great break from classes and enjoying this holiday. It is nice to have a small break before having to hit the books again. I am enjoying the time off from school and work. Stay safe everyone and watch out for flying beads.
